چکیده
Background and Aim: Saroglitazar has gained extensive popularity as therapeutic option for management of NAFLD & NASH in India. We aimed to evaluate the effect saroglitazar on liver function test (LFT) fibrosis score (LSM) by FibroScan, patients with real life clinical setup. Methods: The suffering from are prescribed 4mg OD. Those who satisfies study inclusion criteria (n=52, male 67.3%, diabetic hypertensive 50%) evaluated changes LFT LSM (n=24) at 12- 24-week interval. Paired t tests 95% CI were applied establish statistical significance. Results: significantly reduces ALT [by 19.2% (p=0.03) 40.1% (p<0.001)], AST 13.7% (p=0.05) 32.6% (p<0.001)] 11.5% (p=0.68) 19.8% (p=0.45)] respectively 12 24 weeks. Conclusion: is found effective safe NAFLD/NASH population routine practice. However, well controlled randomized trials will strengthen evidence outcome this study.

Background: Pro-inflammatory cytokines are associated with systemic inflammatory responses. Objective: To investigate the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1b, IL-6, and TNF-a) in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFL) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) compared to healthy individuals. Methods: This case-control study was c...
